WEEKEND TRAINING

 Cadet Training Centre,
Magilligan Training Camp
Co. Londonderry


Please ensure each cadet brings the following items listed below:

The cost of the weekend trip is £6.00 (this includes all food and transport) this should be paid 3 weeks in advance 

    1. Full issued uniform 
      Cadets should bring the follwing issued kit: 2 x Shirts CS95 DPM, 2 x Trouser CS95 DPM, 1 x Jacket Cold DPM, 1 x Fleece Liner, 2 x Vest, 1 x Brassard, 1 x Head dress, 1 x Boots (clean) (2x elastic bands for trouser legs) 
      (THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO BRING YOUR ISSUED WATERBOTTLE AND MUG TO THE CTC)
    2. Sleeping Bag (pillow and pillow case supplied)
    3. Knife Fork Spoon and Plastic Cup (if possible)
    4. Washing Kit for 2 days
    5. Sports kit (a pair of shin guards for football and gum shield for rugby and a pair of trainers)
    6. Note book and pen/pencil
    7. Boot polish (Black) and brushes
    8. Old tracksuit and trainers for adventure training
    9. Spending money for the tuck shop
  1. If no uniform is issued please ensure that an old pair of tracksuit trousers, old trainers, at least 2 tee shirts or sweatshirts is brought, all cadets will be issued with a combat jacket, and wet proofs if required

“Things not to Bring”

Please do not allow any cadet to bring anything to the CTC, which you class as valuable as things can get lost or broken. Cadets who wish to bring expensive items are not covered by ACF insurance for such items whilst on MOD property. (Private insurance should be taken out on all non issued equipment brought to the CTC)

e.g.. CD players, televisions, jewellery etc.

Transport

Cadets will be picked up on Friday evening at the following points:

Bus 1
1900     LONDONDERRY  (LISNAGELVIN PRIMARY SCHOOL, RICHHILL PARK, L/DERRY) (Caw, Drumahoe Detachment)
1920     NEWBUILDINGS PRIMARY SCHOOL VICTORIA ROAD NEWBUILDINGS (Newbuildings Detachment)

Bus 2
1900   LISNEAL COLLEGE, CRESENT LINK LONDNDERRY  (Lisneal Detachment)
1920   EGLINTON COMMUNITY CENTRE, MAIN STREET  (Eglinton Detachment)


Bus 3
1900    COLERAINE ULSTERBUS DEPOT, UNION ROAD,COLERAINE (COLERAINE DETACHMENT)
1930    GARVAGH,  GARVAGH HIGH SCHOOL (GARVAGH DETACHMENT)
2000    LIMAVADY ULSTERBUS DEPOT, STATION ROAD, LIMAVADY (LIMAVADY DETACHMENT)

Cadets will leave the CTC @ 1500 hrs on Sunday to return to drop off locations.
All cadets and adults must travel in civilian clothes; no military equipment should be visible
